Indications/Uses
To numb the inside of nose or throat before the surgeon operates or passes a fine telescope to view the structures of nose & throat. To numb nose if a foreign body (eg, small seed or bead) or any other small object becomes wedged in the nose needs to be removed. To stop bleeding from the front portion of nose before treatment is given to seal the bleeding blood vessels.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Administer into the nose or throat. Adult & childn >12 yr Up to 5 squirts per nostril, 8-12 yr 3 squirts per nostril, 4-8 yr 2 squirts per nostril, 2-4 yr 1 squirt per nostril.
Contraindications
Pregnancy. Not to be used in childn <2 yr.
