Bictegravir, emtricitabine, tenofovir alafenamide

Indications/Uses

HIV type 1 (HIV-1) infection in adults & ped patients weighing at least 25 kg who have no antiretroviral treatment history or to replace current antiretroviral regimen in those who are virologically-suppressed (HIV-1 RNA <50 copies/mL) on a stable antiretroviral regimen w/ no history of treatment failure & no known substitutions associated w/ resistance to the individual components of Biktarvy.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult, pregnant individual, ped patient weighing at least 25 kg & CrCl ≥30 mL/min 1 tab once daily. Virologically-suppressed adult w/ CrCl <15 mL/min who are receiving chronic hemodialysis On hemodialysis days, administer 1 tab once daily after completion of hemodialysis.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Contraindications

Co-administration w/ dofetilide & rifampin.
