Increasing sarcopenia burden calls for better Filipino-specific management

Despite
the country’s relatively younger overall population, the Philippines is said to
be experiencing a transition to an aging population, emphasizing the crucial
need for health programs targeting the elderly. Sarcopenia, a condition
characterized by muscle loss, has become a growing concern in the old, worldwide,
particularly in resource-limited countries such as the Philippines.
