Kohagra Dosage & Drug Information

Indications/Uses

Management of erectile dysfunction.

Dosage/Direction for Use

50 mg about 1 hr before sexual intercourse. May be increased to 100 mg or decreased to 25 mg. Max dosing frequency is once daily.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Contraindications

Nitrates. Significant decrease in BP w/ isosorbide mononitrate or SL glyceryl trinitrate given 1 hr after administration than w/ nitrate given alone.

Special Precautions

Hepatic or severe renal impairment. Dose reduction may be needed. Penile tissue damage & permanent loss of potency may occur in patients w/ anatomical penis deformation or hematological disorders predisposing to priapism. Discontinue in cases of sudden visual & hearing loss.

Adverse Reactions

Serious CV effects including MI, sudden cardiac death, ventricular arrhythmia, headache, flushing, dizziness, hypotension, angina pectoris, face edema, photosensitivity reaction, shock, dyspepsia, vomiting, dry mouth, arthritis, neuropathy, depression, insomnia, nasal congestion & asthma.
