Globifer FA Vit B₁ 10 mg, vit B₃ 30 mg, vit B₆ 5 mg, vit B₁₂ 25 mcg, folic acid 600 mcg, Fe fumarate 320 mg (equiv to elemental Fe 105.6 mg). Globifer Forte Niacinamide 30 mg, vit B₁ 10 mg, vit B₆ 5 mg, vit B₁₂ 25 mcg, ferrous fumarate (equiv to Fe 105.6 mg) 320 mg

Indications/Uses

Globifer FA Prevention & treatment of Fe deficiency anemia; folate deficiency. Lowering of plasma homocysteine. Maintenance of a healthy immune system. Promotes healthy digestive, CV & CNS. Globifer Forte Prevention & treatment of anemia due to Fe nutritional deficiencies, as in anemia of adolescence, pregnancy & convalescence; anemia due to blood loss from menstruation, severe infections & parasitism.

Dosage/Direction for Use

1 cap daily.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Contraindications

Globifer FA Hypersensitivity. Conditions associated w/ Fe overload (eg, hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis, β-thalassemia).

Special Precautions

Globifer FA Chronic liver failure, alcoholic cirrhosis, chronic alcoholism & pancreatic insufficiency. History of gastritis, peptic ulcer & GI bleeding. Regular pre-natal check up for pregnant women.

Adverse Reactions

Globifer FA Stomach discomfort, constipation, diarrhea, nausea & vomiting. Metallic after taste.

Drug Interactions

Globifer FA Reduced absorption of bisphosphonates, cefdinir, quinolones, levodopa, ciprofloxacin, clodronate, methyldopa, tetracycline.
