Per 5 mL Dextromethorphan HBr 15 mg, promethazine HCl 4 mg

Indications/Uses

Symptomatic relief of non-productive cough & upper resp symptoms associated w/ allergy & cold.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult 10 mL 6-8 hrly. Max: 40 mL daily. Childn 6-12 yr 5 mL 6-8 hrly. Max: 20 mL daily, 2-6 yr 2.5 mL 6-8 hrly. Max: 10 mL daily.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Contraindications

Asthma, MAOI therapy. Childn <2 yr.

Special Precautions

Atopic childn, sedated or debilitated patients & patients confined to supine position. Pregnancy & lactation.

Adverse Reactions

Dizziness, GI disturbances.
