Fusidic acid 2%, betamethasone 17-valerate 0.1%.
Indications/Uses
Inflammatory dermatoses where bacterial infection is present or likely to occur.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply bd-tds, less frequently in covered lesions.
Contraindications
Viral, tuberculous & fungal skin infections, perioral dermatitis, acne rosacea & ulcerative conditions. Infections caused by non-susceptible organisms, in particular,
Pseudomonas aeruginosa
. Infants <1 yr.
Special Precautions
Avoid prolonged use, especially under occlusion.
Adverse Reactions
Hypersensitivity reactions. Local atrophic skin changes eg, striae, thinning & dilatation of superficial blood vessels w/ prolonged & intensive use. Systemic reactions w/ prolonged or extensive use.
