Glucosamine sulfate KCl 655 mg (equiv to glucosamine sulfate 500 mg)

Indications/Uses

Adjunctive therapy in OA.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Light or moderate OA 1 tab bd for 6 wk. Severe OA Initially 1 tab tds for 8 wk. Maintenance therapy: 1 tab bd for 3-4 mth.

Administration

Should be taken on an empty stomach.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to glucosamine sulfate & shellfish.

Special Precautions

Not for replacement of NSAIDs in cases of intense pain. Pregnancy & lactation.

Adverse Reactions

Peripheral oedema, tachycardia; skin reactions eg, erythema & pruritus.
