Pseudoephedrine HCl

Indications/Uses

Relief of nasal congestion due to common colds.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Childn 2-5 yr 0.8 mL 3 times daily.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.

Special Precautions

Patients sensitive to sympathomimetics & receiving MAOIs, severe HTN or w/ potentiality to develop HTN or stroke. Not to exceed recommended dose.

Adverse Reactions

Insomnia, headache, excitation, tremor, tachycardia, arrhythmia, palpitation, difficulty in urination.

Drug Interactions

Concomitant use w/ MAOI may cause hypertensive crisis.
