Indications/Uses
Symptomatic relief of chronic idiopathic urticaria in adults & adolescents ≥12 yr.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn ≥12 yr 1 tab daily.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take w/ water before a meal.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Patients should check that Alertex does not make them feel sleepy or dizzy before driving or operating machinery. Caution in patients w/ liver or kidney problems; patients w/ existing or history of heart disease; elderly patients. Do not take during pregnancy, unless necessary. Not recommended during breastfeeding.
Adverse Reactions
Headache, drowsiness, nausea, dizziness.
Drug Interactions
Decreased absorption w/ Al- & Mg-containing indigestion remedies.
